We are exceptionally pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted for the Yorkshire Digital Awards Best B2C of the year category for the work we did with My Job Matcher!
The Insider Media, Yorkshire Digital Awards aim to celebrate all the new and innovative digital (and technology) work being developed in the region, which serves to keep the north of England in position as a digital and technology hub.
So what exactly is this My Job Matcher project we’ve been shortlisted for?
MyJobMatcher is an innovative online recruitment system which uses a combination of Parsing and AI technology to automatically match a candidate’s CV with jobs from leading worldwide job boards. Cloudspotting developed the brand identity, created the brand character ‘Bob’, and designed, developed and performance-tuned the website for high traffic.

The website launched in June 2012 and it already has: 39,000 registered users,matched against 116 job boards, 7,198,167 jobs matched in the past month alone, 224,180 applications in the past month, it approximately averages 6 applications per registered user and has sent 1.8 million emails in the past month.
The website was launched in summer last year. So we’ve gone from a standing start to nearly 40,000 users and over 7 million jobs matched per month in 8 months. In this time MJM have developed relationships with confused.com and have also been featured by the BBC Click programme, as well as receiving new funding for future development .
We’re hoping Bob has the strength of character and identity to take the My Job Matcher site all the way in the Insider Media Awards, as well keeping the My Job Matcher brand strong enough to continue to be a success in the digital age!
